Project Manager Quality, PMQ

Position Description
Group Trucks Technology (GTT), Quality & Customer Satisfaction (Q&CS) shall drive Quality with the ambition to safeguard our customer?s quality and customer satisfaction in their respective market segment.

The Department Project Quality & Safety PQ&S, Heavy Duty Trucks belongs to GTT Q&CS organization. The Department has the overall responsibility to assure the product quality in projects and develop the Quality Roadmaps for the Heavy Duty Vehicle to secure Customer Satisfaction.

PQ&S Heavy Duty Trucks is looking for candidates who are passionate for quality for the position of Project Manager Quality (PMQ). As a PMQ you will be a key player within a Project team to drive the organization goals to meet the customers? needs by delivering quality assured products for market launch.

Your mission
To ensure that customers? satisfaction is prioritized regarding quality features. As a Project Manager Quality (PMQ) drive the product quality in the project for the Chief Project Manager (CPM). Support project team by developing and driving the quality assurance plan and implementing appropriate quality tools such as early predictions, design review, FMEA, DFAM, all in close cooperation with engineering, purchasing, operation and aftermarket.

Your responsibilities
- Be active in implementing the required level of quality into the project that meets the desired customer expectations
- Follow up, analyse and report the quality status to Chief project manager (CPM) and Quality Reference Group
- Support with identification and reduce risk throughout the project
- Investigate and propose corrective actions
- Lead cross-functional activities to deploy quality tools
- Work according to Global Development Process (DVP), PMQ deliverables

Your profile
- M.Sc. or similar with experience in Quality Management
- Experience of Product Development Projects
- Solid interest in quality development, truck technology
- S/W, functional and telematics development experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Analytic skills of big data and structured way of working
- Driving pace and with reliable and convincing approach in communication & presentation
- Holistic mindset, with good attitude to people & problems
- Proficiency in English, both written and oral
- Experience of Quality tools and Global development Process (GDP) knowledge
