Project Manager - R&D

JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a Project Manager to work in our Product Services Team focusing on development and firmware upgrades on products already launched on the market.As Project Manager you will support the market and ensure the quality of Axis' product portfolio.You will own/lead activities aiming to improve hardware/firmware in Axis' cameras/encoders and lead the firmware upgrade process.Your main activities will be to: Drive normal project management activities like planning, writing specifications and follow-up Actively look for solutions, including technical, and drive decision making Look for synergies and dependencies with/on other projects Dare to set tough/realistic schedules and inspire the team to succeed with it Fight for your project's success Uphold tollgate deadlines and defined working models YOUR QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a driven and goal oriented Project Managers with an educational background in engineering, preferably with a master degree in relevant subject e.g.computer science, electrical engineering etc.The right candidates have experience from software development in a development organization working in project form and a strong interest in people management.Regarding previous experience from Project Management Axis is open for both inexperienced and experienced applicants.The independence and degree of support provided in the role will be adjusted accordingly. Apart from the above we believe the position requires a communicative individual with social skills enabling a good team spirit and good performance in the projects. You have very good English skills.
