At the moment we are looking for a Project Manager to join our Interfaces team within Research & Development department.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Axis’ overall goal is to further strengthen and develop the company’s position as the leading supplier of network video solutions. In order to do so we need enthusiastic and bright people. At the moment we are looking for a Project Manager to run projects within our firmware organization with focus on API, Embedded SDK and WEB. Your job will be to create, execute and follow up a plan for these projects. Another part of the role is to manage the communication between project and stakeholders.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a Project Manager with an educational background in engineering; preferably with a Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar. Suitable candidates have documented project manager skill and a great interest in managing software developments. Programming or software background is a major plus. It’s considered meriting if you have knowledge in agile methodology such as Scrum.

The role as Project Manager is collaborative and requires the ability to interact with many people in and outside the organization. Apart from the above we believe the position requires a creative, open minded and goal-oriented individual with an interest in building well-functional fast pace teams.

THE INTERFACES TEAM
The Interfaces team is part of our Firmware Platform department. Within the Interfaces team we are responsible for developing the external APIs, the SDK and the Web GUI used in Axis’ network cameras.

Firmware Platform is responsible of supporting the products on the market. We work close to the sales and support organization worldwide.
