About the position
Perido is looking for a project manager senior specialist for our customer, a global company within the financial business. The position is located in Stockholm. A security control will be held prior to start. Please send your application in English.
Your daily tasks
In this role you will be responsible for leading projects within the European Market Operations Team, which supports the company’s leading Nordic and Baltic exchanges and their clearinghouse. You will also be managing changes to the platforms and operations of their Derivative markets and leading UAT projects as part of larger release management projects. The following is what you can expect from the role and what is expected from you.
Managing, planning and monitoring large projects independently to ensure client/internal customer satisfaction.
Utilizing and managing resources and coordinating effectively with stakeholders and colleagues.
Ensuring that projects meet their obligations regarding requirements, specifications, quality, costs, timeframes and communication.
Managing UAT release projects, utilizing established Project Management methodologies.
Deliver and complete simultaneous projects of varying complexity according to standards, meeting or exceeding expectations.
Participate in the team’s continuous updates of our frameworks

Requirements
BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or other related discipline.
Several years of relevant experience in the financial securities industry (equities or derivatives) is required, in a role dedicated to leading projects, managing operations or managing complex systems.
Experience in leading teams of 10 to 25 people coming from various teams
Experience with complex financial securities systems (multiple interdependent systems, including back end, GUI, API, database, data flows, etc).
Demonstrable experience with project management methodologies.
Experience in managing external or internal customers, including Steering Committees.
Good interpersonal skills, the ability to effectively manage relationships and work with culturally diverse teams.
Fluent in written and spoken English
Contract type and hours
Full time. Assignment length is set to start in April until the 30th November.
