Our target is to take a leading role by introducing new tailor-made services and sustainable transport solutions. This transformation will change the way we do business and interact with our customers and we ensure they stay ahead of their game.

What we offer

We are an experienced team working in several different exciting areas within Scania Service Operations. We have a great mix of backgrounds, experiences and competencies. The team is contributing to Scania’s new customer journeys, systems and products to support our retail network & business units to be more efficient and profitable in the Service Business.

As a project manager within Service Operations your main focus will be the implementation of one of our core projects in several of Scania’s markets/business units. In your role you have to make ensure that the implementations are done successfully. You are responsible for the preparation, realisation and follow up of the implementations, e.g. for some of your tasks:


• Develop services sales methodologies (Retails Sales Management – Services), business processes within service sales and administration
• Put demand on related systems with high focus on the user journeys and the customer experience
• Develop global services concepts together with product owners and other relevant stakeholders at Scania and at market/business unit level
• Implementation projects together with market organisation and markets/business units with regards to service business concepts, work methods and process changes
• Maintain an active dialog with our global reference group
• Act as a representative for the Service Operation area in cross-functional projects

The work will be carried out in close cooperation with the internal departments, as the project team, the market organisation as well as the different business units.

Your profile

As a person, you are engaged, communicative, well-structured as well as a team player with understanding for the business. You thrive working in a dynamic world where agile and conventional development methods co-exist. English is the corporate language and presenting in larger groups in English (written and orally) is something you feel comfortable with. Knowledge in Swedish is meritorious.

You have a relevant education from the university within engineering, IT or equivalent, at least 2-3 years’ experience in project management and experience of working on Business Unit/Retail level is a merit. If you have previous experience with Scania it is a plus.

The implementations are done together with our service network and therefore you need good personal skills and the ability to implement both products and systems. You will be required to act as a trainer and partner towards our services network.
