Project Manager Submarine Engineering

We are looking for a skilled Project Manager within Submarine Engineering to Saabs business area Kockums.

Your role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for one of the complex projects within Submarine Engineering and part of a team of project managers. You will lead the work within your project and be responsible for that we deliver according to expectations. The role include many interactions with stakeholders such as customers, vendors and other business areas within Saab. You report to the Head of project management and planning, Engineering. The role include business travels between our offices in Malmö and Karlskrona. Travels abroad occur but varies depending on our projects. First and foremost we are looking for a colleague to join our Malmö office.

Main tasks:

* Carry out the project towards result within the framework of the Project Directive and Project Plan
* Identify and introduce improvements to the working method
* Adapt and follow the project management process within Saab

Your profile

We are looking for a person who like to motivate and coach your team members in their daily work and to develop the team and project. You know how to get people on board and can handle stakeholders on all levels inside and outside the company.

We believe you have a few years' experience as project manager, proven leadership skills and the ability to cooperate and navigate in an organization developing and maintaining advanced products.

Required skills:

* An engineering background and experience of development
* A few years' experience as project manager
* Proven leadership skills and the ability to cooperate and navigate in an organization developing and maintaining advanced products
* Project Scope, Time and Cost Management
* Project Communication Management
* Project Risk and Opportunity Management
* Project Procurement Management
* Engineering processes, tools and methods
* Great communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written

Desired skills:

* University Degree in Engineering
* IPMA certification (Level D)
* Understanding/experience of commercial terms and their aspects on the project
* Understanding/experience of classification and Security management

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions, requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
