Project manager, Supply Chain

Operations Development has a pro-active role to develop Alfa Laval's supply chain processes together with business divisions, sales companies and suppliers.Several supply chain initiatives have been taken and there are still a lot of challenges ahead.We will now strengthen our team with a new project manager.

As a project manager you will act as a specialist in one or more of supply chain's competence areas, for example sales & operations planning, inventory management or supplier development.You will be providing expertise to our internal customers and work closely with purchasing, manufacturing and logistics.You will be based in Lund, with 50-100 travelling days per year.

Your background
You have a university degree in Engineering or equivalent.You also have at least five years of substantial experience from one or more of the specialist areas within supply chain.Experience from the purchasing field, in particular, is highly valued.Experience from project work is essential.Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean is an advantage as is any further education within supply chain, for example APICS.As a person you are curious, eager to acquire new knowledge and competent in bringing out your ideas in the organization.You are fluent in Swedish and English.
