Project Manager Supply Chain

ValueOne is looking for a Project Manager Supply Chain for an exciting opportunity at one of our customers. The assignment is expected to last for approximately 6 months and can be carried out from remote with frequent travelling to our customers manufacturing site and head office in the southern part of Sweden.

The role

The assignment means that you will act as Project Manager for a cross-functional international Supply Chain project. The Project Team will consist of multiple competences working together to find an optimal solution to our customer´s future Supply Chain with regard to Sourcing, Logistics, Engineering, Sustainability and Finance.

Main tasks:

Analyze current set up of solutions for global supply. Develop and define options based on a future company overall strategy.Present a proposal for future organizational setup to manage the global supply chain.Present complete options with the cost / benefit analysis for decision including the potential investment needs.

Experience and competence

We are looking for a skilled project manager with deep Supply Chain knowledge, preferably with a master´s or bachelor´s degree in Supply Chain or equivalent. Since you will work cross-functionally on a global level experience from this kind of projects is important. Experience from setting up global Supply Chains is valuable to get a successful outcome of the project as well as knowledge in established project management tools.

Strong analytical and presentation/communication skills are needed for the role. The role also requires a strong inner drive and the ability to lead and engage others. Furthermore, you have integrity and a structured way of doing things.
