In this role you will be part of Aspen, a world-leading producer of special fuels. The brand Aspen offers fuels for small engines which are used in forestry, gardening, boating and motorsports. The company’s products provide superior performance and benefits to users, their machines and the environment.

As Project Manager Supply Chain, you will work in a broad role where you will have an impact on the supply chain organization as well as advisory role towards the management group. In this position you will for example identify, develop and implement supply chain projects to improve service, reduce cost or improve accuracy. As this position is new, you will take responsibility to implement an analysis framework for our global inventory and delivery management, covering supplier delivery precision, purchase quantities, payment terms and working capital impacts. You will also develop structures and methodologies for comprehensive supplier risk and performance analytics capabilities. Your day-to-day work may also include developing our ERP-system, improving ways of measuring our KPI’s, perform evaluations of our existing supplier base, find new suppliers as well as implementing best practices.

The position is located in Hindås, and you will report to Head of Supply Chain. Our main producing units are located in the US, France, England and Germany, therefore some travel is expected.
This is what you need to succeed

You have:

- Experience of project management within supply chain.
- You have documented experience leading projects with at least ten people involved.
- You have great understanding of process-based work and have previously worked with suppliers and within purchase.
- Strong communication skills in English. It is a plus if you speak French.

- Flexible in your approach and comfortable at making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- A doer who enjoys taking initiatives and has a pragmatic approach to challenges.
- Skilled at building strong relationships with stakeholders. You are able to adjust your style and delivery to various audiences, always with a positive attitude.
- Analytic and insightful, you break down and analyze information efficiently in order to suggest realistic and practical solutions.
