As a Project manager, you will be part of a team of positive, committed and competent people who all work support extends to the decommissioning and dismantling (D&D) and waste and spent fuel management (WM) industries. This position is located to Sweden but you will work very close to your colleagues in Spain, Italy and U.S and you will report to Manager, Projects Delivery.
Job Description
The position requires deep competence of project scheduling and cost management. You will be managing multiple large, complex and high hazard projects involving major financial, contractual and reputational commitments. In the role you will provide strategic direction to the client, project partners, project managers, other project participants and Westinghouse Regional Team to optimize short- and long-term profitability, strengthen long term service delivery relationships with the client, and develop strong relationships with local, influential stakeholders. Another important part is to implement and monitor Program and Project management systems and controls for projects. Generate new business opportunities by understanding client strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate, develop and lead business growth opportunities i.e. obtain order, up-sales, scope increases, technological advancements, etc.
* Supporting and Developing Proposals for Commercial and Government Customers
* Develop WEC and partner relationships
* Coordinate and work closely with in varying levels of Westinghouse management.
* Maintain good working relationships with the customers.
* Formulate and implement highly complex product plans. Improve development of program plans and facilitate communications/ expectations via program kick-offs, interim program review meetings, etc.
* Analyze and resolve highly complex technical, commercial and operational issues to provide high quality services/systems, enhance positive customer and supplier relations, and increase/maintain profit margin.
* Analyze contract requirements and assist in developing project-specific deliverables to enable successful program implementation, to enhance customer satisfaction and program performance. Analyze needs and develop unique customer satisfaction improvements to address customer needs for support, high quality and efficiency to provide quick turnaround and maintain performance.
* Use and support Westinghouse project management systems and controls for various projects assuring senior management is provided with up-to-date and accurate reports of each project status.
Position requirements
Your knowledge in developing/implementing new business opportunities and project scheduling and cost management is very good. You have strong communication skills and a proven history of managing and leading teams effectively and interfacing with multiple functional groups. Documented PMI Certification or other equivalent certification. Bachelor's degree in engineering or recognized equivalent and minimum 5-10 years leading large integrated projects preferably in the nuclear D&D industry.
It is important that you are willing to relocate/accept long term assignment at Nuclear Facilities throughout Europe and abroad and travel is required for the position, including international travel.
You are fluent in Swedish, English. German is a plus.
