Project Manager to European Market Operations


Nasdaq Stockholm is currently looking for a Project Manager to join our European Markets Operations Project Office team in Stockholm. European Markets Operations supports our leading Nordic and Baltic exchanges and our clearinghouse.


With this position we offer


In this role, we offer you the opportunity to bring your amazing project management experience to lead projects for the European Market Operations team, managing changes to the platforms and operations of our Derivative markets, leading UAT projects as part of larger release management projects and managing projects for the Central Counterparty Clearing House. With all these exciting projects happening, you will also be reporting on the progress with our steering groups and consult them for their input.


Role & Responsibilities include


Managing, planning and monitoring large projects independently to ensure we fuel our internal clients success.
Utilizing and managing resources and coordinating effectively with stakeholders and colleagues.
Ensuring that projects meet their obligations regarding requirements, specifications, quality, costs, timeframes, risks and communication.
Managing UAT release projects, utilizing established Project Management methodologies.
Delivering and completing simultaneous projects of varying complexity according to standards whilst meeting or exceeding expectations.
Participating in the teams continuous updates of our frameworks.


We expect you to have


BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or other related discipline.
Several years of relevant experience in the financial securities industry (equities or derivatives) is required, in a role dedicated to leading projects, managing operations or managing complex systems.
Experience in leading teams of 10 to 25 people coming from various teams
Experience with complex financial securities systems (multiple interdependent systems, including back end, GUI, API, database, data flows, etc).
Demonstrable experience with project management methodologies.
Experience in managing external or internal customers, including Steering Committees.
Good interpersonal skills, the ability to effectively manage relationships and work with culturally diverse teams.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
