Arbetsbeskrivning
Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
We are looking for a talented project manager to lead Finance into the future of digitalization, end-to-end processes, and shift focus to better decision support!
You will be working in the department Finance Way and Innovation Office, which is our center of excellence for business strategy, transformation, change & communication, and portfolio management incl. PMO processes. This is our transformation muscle of the global Finance Community and right now we are in the midst of setting off our large business transformation program – Finance 2025, which also includes setting off standard financial processes and a standard ERP system solution (SAP).
We are looking for an ambitious Project Manager, who will be part of the PMO team and lead different change & transformation initiatives in the Finance 2025 Business Transformation Program, which is sponsored by Scania’s CFO.
If you have the will to take part in leading Finance into the future and be a change-maker – you are the one we are looking for!
Your contribution
To succeed in this role you are a project manager with the drive, ambition, and an eye for what needs to get done in your initiative in order for Finance to shift focus and change minds. You have a pragmatic and situation-based approach and a large portion of “gut-feeling” combined with self-confidence. You are gifted in agile project management processes and how to make them work in large high-profile programs. You find it easy to navigate in large organizations and your middle name is probably “great networker”. Initiatives may be within Financial Planning & Analytics area, consolidated group reporting, or projects within setting off standardized processes within the Record-To-Report area.
Tasks in this context can typically be exemplified with:
• Lead your team with motivation and in the agreed direction
• Cross-collaborate within the program as well as with other business transformation programs at Purchasing and Production & Logistics
• Present decision-material to senior management committees
• Have your basics in place in regard to scope, plan, risk, and issue management
• Deliver with an MVP approach in our global Finance Community
Who are you?
You are a team player and passionate about finding solutions together with your team. You still have the ability to fold up your sleeves, but simultaneously have a strong strategic mindset and understanding of the context. You are motivated by complexity and to make it understandable and simplified to your stakeholders or peers in the project. All in all, you know what it takes to contribute to a high-profile program in an international environment in terms of drive, coordination/anchoring, the different cultural approaches, and communication both with C-level and peers.
Your background may vary, but most importantly we believe you have a genuine passion for finance, transformation, and the people approach.
