About this opportunity
Welcome to Operations Automation, Data and Change. We add value by driving Business transformations in Nordea Operations, which are supporting Nordea Business Areas in delivering products and services to our customers.
As a project manager, you will play a valuable role driving and implementing meaningful projects within any of Nordea Operations Service lines; Lending Services, Credit Services, Daily Banking Services, Payment Services and Trading & Custody Services. You will independently drive your assigned projects end to end. The type of changes you lead are projects either targeting to solve regulatory or compliance demands or targeting customer service delivery, quality, and efficiency.
By joining us you will become part of an international project organisation with colleagues in 10 locations and 5 countries.
This role can be based in Helsinki, Stockholm, Lodz, Gdynia, Gdańsk or Tallinn.
What you will be doing:
* Translate business needs to tangible project scope and benefits
* Take full responsibility for leading the various change initiatives in Operations by planning and follow up project deliverables according to Nordea Change framework methodologies
* Independently drive your projects e2e and support Operations in delivering on their Strategic change agenda and thereby also enable the business areas to deliver their products and services in the best feasible way to our customers
* You will encounter many different stakeholders such as Operations management, specialists and subject matter experts from both operations and other business areas in Nordea to collaborate transparent manner

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
* Plan and organize projects and change initiatives in Operations to secure successful delivery
* Have superior stakeholder management skills and experience with successful stakeholder management in a multi department setting including project reporting
* Ask and provide feedback to ensure a well performing project team
* Have a can-do attitude and a passion for change

Your experience and background:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in driving projects
* Hold relevant project management certification e.g., Prince2, PMP, PMI, IPMA (level B or equivalent) or similar
* Proficient user of Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and project management reporting tools
* Master's or Bachelor's degree on finance, economics or similar
* Consultant experience from a consulting firm will be considered an advantage
* Fluent in English and a local language, written and spoken (professional level)​​​​​​​
