GPCC is looking for a project manager with a special interest for the utilisation of person-centred care research.

Job assignments
As a project manager you will be contributing towards the utilisation of person-centred care knowledge by compiling and synthesising research results as well as planning and conducting targeted educational activities. You will be responsible for creating presentations and planning training days about person-centred care, adapted to different target groups. You will be collaborating with researchers, communicators and patient representatives.

A major part of the work includes mapping out, compiling and presenting different ways of working that support person-centred care. Together with the Centre’s researchers, you will be taking part in studies about utilisation of person-centred care. This requires that you have a good understanding and that you are willing to maintain your knowledge regarding how person-centred care is applied in the Swedish healthcare sector. Apart for knowledge of theory and method in person-centred care, you will need to create a broad network of contacts with stakeholders in health care involving people from patient organisations to decision makers.

Qualifications
A second-cycle qualification is required, at least a Degree of Master. A doctoral degree in a relevant subject for the employment is especially meritorious.

Further, we require that you have some research experience that is relevant for person-centred care and experience of teaching at a higher education institution or a university.

Experience of compiling data and writing popular scientific texts, as well as knowledge of person-centred care and its theoretical basis, basic values and practice is meritorious.

The written and oral communication at the Centre is both in Swedish and English, thus a good ability to express yourself in both languages is necessary.

To succeed in this role, you need to be creative, structured, strategic and articulate as well as being pedagogically aware.

In this recruitment, we make an overall assessment of competence and skill with the purpose to employ the candidate with the best conditions to conduct and develop the activities and thus contribute to a positive development of the organisation.

Employment
The position is temporary from 2020-11-01 until 2021-06-30 covering 20-50% of a fulltime position as agreed, with the possibility for an extension. You will be based at the Institute of Health and Care Sciences. Start date to be agreed.
