Project Manager to The Laboratory

The Laboratory was formed to help the H&M group to prepare for the future. We do that through challenging our business in different ways by being curious and looking outside the organization to learn new things relevant to our business. We challenge through the research we do and through driving projects where we test new things – business models, revenue streams or/and ways of working. The Laboratory acts as a multi-disciplinary collective with 3 interconnected labs. And so we have our Research lab that researches, interprets and summarizes consumer-, tech-, macro- and industry developments and the Idea Explorations lab where we explore and test new ideas and concepts. And finally our Relations Lab that establish interesting relationships with relevant entrepreneurs and networks.
The long-term goals we work towards are to give an outside-in view of the H&M group’s position​, to explore the future of our industry and to challenge our thinking. And finally, to support long-term growth of the H&M Group by identifying ideas to invest in.
Job Description
Strong overall project management skills and a curious and entrepreneurial mindset
As a Project Manager within the Laboratory you will work towards our overall mission to truly make a difference and challenge our business in a nice way. This role sits in the Idea explorations lab where we explore and test new ideas and concepts with internal and external partners.
We see that you are interested in innovative thinking and future proofing our business. You will contribute because you have a great business driven mindset and is motivated by thinking in creative ways. You are inquisitive, constantly challenging status quo and understand new business model opportunities. You can build case scenarios from a financial perspective and can clearly visualize them. It’s natural for you to influence a team and the surrounding organization. You contribute with a strategic and analytical approach; you hold strong presentation skills, and you generate impact and great results.
Your Responsibilities
Set overall project plan together with Business Developer (who owns the actual project you work on)
Set project plan with structure, method, follow-up, timelines etc.
Ensure that timeline with deadlines is followed
Ensure check-ins
Get stakeholders on board, set goals and processes to turn pilots into actual projects and set ways of working within our organization
In addition to overall responsibilities, a project manager is a project member and operational with assigned tasks and responsibilities within the project (s) (strategy work, interviews, reading, exploring tech etc. so both a strategic and operational role)
Work in projects with speed and a flexible approach (agile)

Qualifications
University degree within business, finance or equivalent
Work experience of 5 years in similar positions
Have an open mindset and the right drive to learn new things while contributing and sharing your knowledge with others
Ability to project lead and keep momentum while being flexible and open to changes and new ways forward
An interest and passion for new digital tech solutions is meritorious
Holding an entrepreneurial spirit and having experience from the start up world is meritorious
