Project Manager Verification

Volvo Construction Equipment, a business area within the Volvo Group, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of construction equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, articulated haulers, road development equipment and compact equipment. Production facilities are located in Europe, Asia, North America and Latin America Department "Verification & Validation, Sweden" has the responsibility for Verification, Validation and Engine Certification activities in ongoing R&D projects. The department is organized within Technology / Advanced Engineering. As Project Manager Verification you will be responsible for the V&V part of a R&D project. From early phases to start of production you will plan and drive the V&V activities. In close collaboration with cross functional project members, Technology colleagues in charge of the design, test engineers and calculation or simulation engineers, you will define, optimize and track status of Verification and Validation activities such as bench tests, machine tests, calculations or simulations. Core Responsibilities: Coordinate the Verification and Validation parts of a project Create V&V specification Decide methods to meet verification need Establish and follow up budget for V&V activities in the project Method development of V&V process Required Competencies: Experience and interest of Construction Equipment Structured way of working Fluent English, spoken and written Open and positive attitude Good co-operation ability Education Required: Technical education, university degree Location: Eskilstuna or Braås
