Warranty Operations
The Warranty Operations team is responsible for the Warranty Policy and Procedures Manual (WPPM) which includes descriptions of both the Warranty Process at dealer, as well as the Warranty Policy itself. We also own a few Warranty related IT applications including our global warranty system, QW90. We work in close cooperation with our Sales Companies and Importers around the world and we are involved in a variety of projects focused on increasing quality and/or reducing warranty spend. Warranty data analysis also a part of our responsibility. Warranty Operations is a part of the Quality organization.
What you’ll do
In this position as Project Manager you will develop/upgrade system and process in an agile way. As Project Manager your main focus will be to drive identified improvement activities from start to market implementation, coordinating with all relevant stakeholders and work closely together with the rest of Warranty Office to get input and prioritize on improvement areas. Part of the job is also to communicate relevant and important insights and ideas within Warranty Office as well as cross-functionally. You will be the Project Manager for an update of QW90 that is our claim handling system. You will also be involved in our AI/ML project that is connected to claim handling. You will support or manage processes and systems, e.g. claim coaching, audit/self-evaluation system and WPPM (Warranty Policies and Procedures).

The Project Manager role will challenge you in many ways. Performing pre-studies and driving implementation projects often involves communicating and cooperating with different levels of management on both National Sales Companies and dealers around the world, as well as internally at VCC. Understanding how things work in reality is a natural part of the job, so some degree of travelling is therefore also part of this role. You have a good understanding of statistical methods and relevant tools. Understanding of high-level Lean principles is also an advantage.
Main Responsibilities
• Identify improvement areas for Warranty products and processes.
• Market implementation of Warranty products and processes
• Communication of relevant and important insights within Warranty Office as well as cross-functionally.
Required Qualifications
• 3-5 years experience from working with markets and/or dealers
• High level of business acumen - being able to operate in the Volvo Cars culture including different levels of management
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Project Manager experience
