About the position
As part of the Stakeholder Events team, you will play a key role in organizing and executing large and medium sized events involving various stakeholders.
Your work tasks include but are not limited to:
- Being the internal contact person for the event management system, Trippus, together with another colleague and also help training staff in the system.
- Planning, coordinating and executing some of SSE’s largest and most central events.
- Hands-on tasks and various ad-hoc tasks related to the events.
- Liaising with students, faculty, alumni and a variety of departments and external parties.
- Tasks connected to budgeting and invoicing. No budget experience required.
Your profile
You are likely to be described as a creative, service-minded organizer with strong collaborative and communication skills. You enjoy working in a high-tempo environment, both independently and together with others, and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. When needed, you can make fast decisions and act on them.
Requirements:
- A few years of experience from similar work tasks and event-related project management,
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken,
- This position will involve work outside of ordinary hours,
- Interest in event management systems.
Meritorious:
- Work experience from academic environment,
- Swedish skills are extra meritorious,
- Experience from working with an event management system.

As our new Project Manager, you will be a part of SSE's largest unit, External Relations, which is composed of five teams. You will be a part of a small, tight-knitted team within External Relations: Stakeholder Events, which is responsible for planning, organizing and executing some of the largest and most central events at SSE.
