What we offer
We're in search of a talented Project Manager with a background in electrical work to join our team. At Volvo Cars, we are pioneering the transition towards a tech-driven future, and you will play a vital role in overseeing projects involving electrical systems, ensuring their successful implementation and alignment with our vision.
What you’ll do

As a Project Manager specializing in electrical systems, you will lead projects with precision and attention to detail. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to navigate project complexities and deliver optimal results. Additionally, you will leverage your electrical expertise and high-voltage competencies to mitigate risks and optimize project performance.

As a Project Manager with Electrical Expertise, your key responsibilities include:
* Project Leadership: Provide strategic guidance and leadership for projects involving electrical systems, from inception to completion
* Electrical Expertise: Leverage your background in electrical work to oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems within our projects
* Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within budget and timeline constraints
* Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold rigorous quality control measures to ensure the safety and reliability of electrical systems in our projects
* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to electrical systems to ensure project continuity and safety compliance
High Voltage Competencies (Desirable): Utilize your expertise in high-voltage systems to enhance project capabilities and outcomes

What You Will Bring
In this role, you will spearhead projects involving electrical systems with precision and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring strict compliance with safety standards. Your collaborative approach will be crucial as you work closely with internal and external stakeholders to navigate the intricacies of each project, ultimately delivering optimal results. Moreover, you will leverage your extensive electrical expertise and high-voltage competencies to proactively mitigate risks and enhance project performance.

Your proficiency in electrical work will be instrumental in driving successful project outcomes, demonstrating leadership in stakeholder coordination and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. By harnessing your high-voltage competencies, you will elevate project capabilities and outcomes, contributing significantly to our mission of excellence.
Requirements:
* Background in Project Management or extensive experience as an Electrician.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and installations.
* Desirable: Competency in high-voltage systems and Volvo Cars projects and electrical requirements/standards.
