Project Manager with Expertise in Gene Therapy

As an innovation hub, NXBio has an open platform for collaboration with early stage/SME biotech companies and other stakeholders in Sweden, the Nordics and internationally to enable the industrial scale manufacture of advanced therapeutics and prophylactics.

Responsibilities
The Commercial management team is a part of the innovation hub secretariat called Alliance and Innovation Management (AIM). The main objective for the Commercial management team is to provide dedicated project managers to our collaborative projects together with biotech companies. As a project manager, you will be given the opportunity to play a key role in groundbreaking development projects within the biotech industry, delivering specialized competence within biologics used in vaccines, gene therapy and other advanced applications.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Manage resources between NXBio’s >130 people organisation and external partners
• Coordinate actions with the NXBio site team and follow-up on progress to timelines
• Be responsible for the follow-up and reporting of project status
• Communicate externally and support the dialogue with collaboration partners and external project parties
• Communicate and interact with the other project managers to feed-back and feed-forward project information or support

Your profile
In order to be successful in the role as a Project Manager, we expect you to have:
• University degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) in Biology/Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical Sciences or other relevant fields
• Previous experience from working as a project manager in the Life Science industry
• Solid research experience in cell- and molecular biology
• Solid research experience in cell- and/or gene therapy
• Experience in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

• Good at communicating, both in writing and verbally

• Self- motivated and used to taking responsibility
