The H&M Group Circular innovation LAB in Stockholm is looking for a project manager to scout, define and lead innovation projects.
H&M Group has a goal of using 100% recycled or other sustainably sourced materials by 2030. An important part of achieving this is to step-by-step move to more sustainable materials and to use sustainable production processes. To achieve this goal, we work together with our industry and a broad array of stakeholders.
Since 2019, the Circular innovation LAB has scouted, supported and collaborated with start-up companies and innovators in a wide range of projects. As a part of the H&M group innovation eco system the innovation lab acts as a catalyst to bring new innovations to the company.
Job Description
The Circular Innovation Lab Project Manager will work closely with the Lab Team Leader and the project team members as well as start-ups, innovators, suppliers, brands and functions within the H&M group.
The main task will be to scout, set up, manage and drive innovation projects to test, evaluate and showcase products in new materials and/or new production processes. Together with others, the project manager will also analyze and evaluate incoming project ideas to secure alignment with set criteria. Product development will be an important part of this process together with the partners in the specific project. The projects will be diverse and include both commercial and non-commercial goods materials and production processes.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have/are:
3-5 years of experience within the textile industry, preferable with a focus in innovation
Product development experience from commercial and/or non-commercial
Experience in textiles and textile production processes
Basic knowledge within chemistry is a great advantage but not a demand
The ability and willingness to independently drive initiatives without clearly defined processes
A visionary mindset and see opportunities and possibilities
An innovation and entrepreneurial mindset – understanding and ability to drive innovation processes
Excellent networking skills
A good and inspiring communicator and able to act as ambassador for the H&M group
Used to work independently: is self-going and agile
Business oriented and have salesmanship skills

Additional Information
This is a full-time permanent position, based in the Head office in Stockholm.
