SICK IVP in Linköping develops Machine Vision solutions for industrial production and quality assurance. Our 3D imaging technology is the global leader and the latest 3D camera for industrial applications was awarded with the internationally recognized Vision Innovation prize in 2010. We are a part of the German sensor company SICK with more than 7000 employees in 55 countries. Project Manager with the Customer in Focus
Our System Engineering team develops vision systems for the Factory and Logistics Automation Industry. Currently we have systems within the areas of Vision Guided Robotics and Consumer Goods Inspection. Our System Engineering team is now looking for a customer oriented Project Manager. Focus on customer satisfaction, an interest in technical solutions and a wish to travel are important components of the role.
As Project Manager you will be responsible for System Engineering projects focusing on our top priority customers and for coordinating our customer activities. You will also coordinate the organization’s development team that works in an agile development environment where things sometimes change fast. As our Project Manager you will be responsible for project planning, progress, follow-up and results. Coordination with our internal and external partners and sub-contractors are also important tasks as well as coordination of customer related activities and marketing material.
Profile
Your background is a technical degree from higher education and you have at least two years of project management experience, preferably from a technical field. You are now ready to take the next step in your career and you find it challenging to grow with us and our customer commitments on the international arena. You have high social skills and it comes naturally to you to take on responsibility for both small and large tasks and aim for customer satisfaction in every situation. You are flexible, result oriented and structured. Having previous experiences in working with Scrum and in an agile development environment is meriting.
We work in close cooperation with both international customers and with the SICK headquarter in south Germany.Good language skills are therefore required as well as the ability and wish for frequent international travels. Driving license is required.
