Project Managers for Construction.

Our client is one of the leading project management, construction management and engineering firms in Europe with 30 permanent affiliates and 1300 staff worldwide, delivering projects for prestigious multi-national companies.The highly diversified portfolio includes all types of building, infrastructure and transport projects such as office towers, hotels, shopping malls, retail networks, residential buildings, hospitals as well as industrial facilities, civil works, roads, railway lines and urban transport systems.Several positions are currently vacant in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, for the construction and refurbishment of petroleum distribution sites for one of the world's leading distributors. Your task As a Project Manager you will have the full responsibility for the daily business on construction sites, including co-ordination and supervising of the work on site.You will conduct projects as a consultant.Among others, your responsibilities include : -Preparation of projects (cost, time plan and quality) -Meetings with other consultants, the client, contractors etc.-Organize start-up meetings, manage and follow-up the deliverables by construction contractors -Ensure compliance with HSSE requirements -Cost control -Manage contacts with authorities -Perform final inspections Your field of work will be part of the geographic area covered by the 4 Nordic countries mentioned above. Qualifications and experience You have several years of experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry.Experience from the petroleum distribution industry is highly recommended, but experience in retail projects, restaurant chains, hotels and office buildings is also relevant.
