Cibes Lift Group is Europe's leading manufacturer of space-efficient, modular lifts of Swedish quality and design. The products are adapted for the public, commercial and private market. Sales, installation, and maintenance are provided by the company's global network of subsidiaries and partners. Cibes is headquartered in Gävle and has +1000 employees, a collaborative network in over 50 countries and subsidiaries in around 20 countries. Sales in 2022 are forecasted to 2 billion SEK and the company has been growing fast during the last couple of years.
Our Product Management and Modularization department is an important contributing part to our business objectives, to continue to be one of the leading suppliers in Europe that is at the forefront when it comes to the development of modular lifts. Therefore, we are now looking for two driven project managers in product development who wants to join our team, and help us meet both external and internal requirements and who want to contribute to our continued success.
About the job
You are responsible for projects being delivered within the agreed time, scope and budget that you yourself have contributed to and ensure technical feasibility as well as compliance with Cibe's modularization principles and goals defined by Director Product Management and Modularization. You plan and define the projects from start to end. During the process, you communicate the projects scope, goals and status to all stakeholders, and coordinate and distribute internal and external project resources. You apply an agile approach as you create detailed project plans and track both progress and analyze risks to minimize project risks. You continuously check accuracy and quality, analyze deviations and initiate corrective measures and escalate to the management if necessary. Using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques, you measure project performance and use appropriate techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs. You manage activities for consultants and suppliers by defining the scope of work, reviewing agreements and ensuring how each work activity affects the budget.
About you
You are a driven self-starter who enjoy taking clear ownership of the project and its progress. You have previously worked in an international environment, or you would very much like to do so and you enjoy working in cross-functional global teams in a job that requires a high degree of travel. You have a technical background, with practical experience of product development and implementation within manufacturing, preferably of consumer product/s. You are a communicative team person and good at defining goals and set demands. You have a sense of details without getting lost in them and you have the capacity to keep several processes going at the same time. You are good at distinguishing between person and subject matter and communicate this in a smooth and obvious way and you are interested in contributing to both your own, the team's and the business's development. You are passionate about physical products and bringing them to market.
To cope with the role, we see that you have a post-secondary education with a technical or industrial economic orientation. At least 4 years of work experience as a project manager, and a strong ability to lead and motivate people. You master English in speech and writing. Experience of product development or sourcing in China is a clear advantage for this position. If you have a PMP, IPMA or CSM certification, it would be considered as a plus. We welcome both junior and more senior applicants to the position.
