Project Managers to Radar Solution

Are you an experienced Project Manager, who wants to take part in Projects within Business Unit Radar Solution at Saab?

As we have many ongoing contracts and prospects we need to strengthen our project management department with extra resources to meet these challenges.

Your role

Within Business Unit Radar Solution at Saab, one of our most important product areas together with Gripen and our U-boats, we are looking for project managers to our project management organization at Product Unit Fighter and Sensor Core.



The main activities are situated in Göteborg-Kallebäck, where design, production and integration takes place. Our responsibility is to lead sensor system development and production in Kallebäck as program and/or project managers and to lead integration of our Systems at our system integrators and customer site. As important as delivering new Sensor Systems to our customers is our professional support to keep their systems working with high availability.



The majority of our subcontractors and customers are situated abroad, which means that international travels are a natural part of our job. To work with prospects to new potential customers as well as support contracts to current customers, is a part of our responsibility to contribute to secure coming business.



Project manager roles for projects with high technical complexity requiring technical skills resides side by side with customer oriented projects requiring more of communications and negotiation skills.



Your profile

We are looking for you who wants to develop within project management. You have and can contribute with drive, enthusiasm and efficient communication in our team. You have a good technical knowledge, are able to regularly travel abroad for supplier or customer meetings, have experience in and enjoys negotiating with our customers in project matters as well as in Sweden at customer site.



We appreciate if you have several years of experience of working with a project management team and have a good understanding of the responsibilities and challenges.

You have a degree in Engineering and communicates fluently in Swedish and English.



This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

You will be a part of a Project office that works as a team where we collaborate, support each other and develop as Project Managers together.



Our main responsibility is to develop and produce advanced fighter radars and core sensor systems. Saab is one of very few companies in the world with the capability to design, produce and integrate such advanced systems.
