Operations & Shared Services (OSS) is a part of IKEA Business Solutions responsible for IT Operations and services delivering integration, test, information security and IT-environment services as well as developing and delivering solutions and projects for IT infrastructure and integration.

We are now looking for a Project Office Team Leader to the Project Office of OSS. The Project Office houses the OSS Project Management resources and is responsible for leading pre-studies and projects within the OSS Project Portfolio as well as ensuring qualitative and efficient project management processes and methods. We also support other Business Solutions organisations with Project Management resources in Projects and Programs with a close connection to IT infrastructure.

ASSIGNMENT
The OSS Project Office is just established and is in need of strengthening the team with a Team Leader. In this role you are leading a team of Project Assistants, Project Leaders and Project Managers. Together with the Project Office Manager you proactively monitor the project performance in our portfolio of initiatives and, when appropriate, identify corrective actions. Based on the project portfolio and incoming assignments you plan and allocate resources in collaboration with other Team Leaders in OSS and other Business Solutions organizations. Furthermore, you take part in developing our project methodology and secure that our project managers are trained accordingly.

In combination with managing your team you will be responsible for one or more of the key areas and capabilities of the OSS Project Office. This could for example be contributing to the development of common tools & methods, working with tactical capacity planning, optimizing the allocation of competencies and resources, OSS project portfolio management or taking part on one or more of the IKEA Group level Project Office initiatives.
