About the position
We are looking for a Project Officer to our client, an independent and important agency of the European Union. The position is based at the client’s office just north of Stockholm.
Your daily tasks
You will play a crucial role within the team responsible for coordinating Country Assessment Missions, which involve evaluating and assisting countries in enhancing their readiness to respond to public health crises.
Your responsibilities will include:
Facilitating the scheduling of up to 10 Emergency Preparedness Capacity Assessment missions to EU/EEA countries in 2024
Collaborating and communicating with national counterparts to tailor the scope of Emergency Preparedness Capacity Assessment missions according to specific country needs.
Assisting in assembling diverse assessment teams by coordinating with various sections within the organization.
Creating mission agendas using established templates and managing logistical arrangements in collaboration with the respective countries.
Providing pertinent information and maintaining effective communication with both internal stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications:
Administrative experience in a multicultural working environment
Excellent skills in managing documentation, preparing correspondence, and other documentation
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
Excellent command of English, both written and oral

Contract type and hours
Full-time, consulting assignment until 2024-03-31. Start 2024-01-15.
