About the position
We are looking for a Project Officer for our client, an independent and important agency of the European Union. The position is based at the client’s office just north of Stockholm.
Your daily tasks
This role revolves around organizing an annual public health conference. These are your key responsibilities:
Support activities and projects of the Scientific Process and Methods Section, Scientific Methods and Standards Unit, among others in the organization and implementation of the Centre’s annual scientific conference.
Work closely with the conference project manager, including planning and day-to-day management of related tasks required to develop and implement the conference as a hybrid event, including contributing to the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of project communication and visibility activities.
Support the project management of other science-related activities and projects of the section.

In order to be successful in this role, you possess a high level of service orientation. We believe that you can manage multiple responsibilities and take initiative when needed. Furthermore, you can work under pressure and have great experience of organizing and prioritizing your work accordingly. Qualifications:
Experience in administration, managing projects, coordinating and monitoring activities
Experience in budget management, public procurement and contract management
Experience in organizing large meetings
Excellent command in English, both written and spoken
Contract type and hours
Full-time, consulting assignment until 2023-06-31. Start ASAP.
