About the workplace
Perido is now looking for a Project Officer for our client – ECDC (European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control). This is an independent and essential agency of the European Union, whose mission is to strengthen Europe’s defenses against infectious diseases as well as identify, assess and communicate current and emerging threats to human health posed by infectious diseases. The position is placed at their office, nicely located just outside of Stockholm city.
Your daily tasks
Your main goal in this assignment is to support the transition of the current Document Management System to a new Enterprise Content Management Platform.
It will include the following tasks:
Support the day-to-day administration of ECDC’s information management processes and the ongoing work of the Information and Knowledge Management team, including content management, analysis and users’ support.
Support the migration of the documents from the current Document Management System (DMS) to the new Enterprise Content Management Platform (ECMP).
Generate reports about the current content structures in the DMS and map the existing medata to the new metadata columns in ECMP.
Support the information management team to liaise with the DMS contact points and validate their requirements related to content migration needs.
Support the information management team with any tasks as necessary.
Your work may also include:
Provide independent and high level of administrative and organizational support to the planning, implementation, coordination and follow up of the activities in different projects, both internal and external.
Organize and monitor projects and activities and follow up on deadlines, implementation and reporting.
Manage documentation for briefings and publications.
Respond to queries and requests for information and documentation with a high level of service attitude, tact, discretion and confidentiality.
Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor.

You can communicate efficiently in English at all levels – internally and externally – in an appropriate manner and you always make sure to offer a high level of service. Quality defines your work, even during periods of higher workload and pressure. That is done by a proactive mindset and your skills in organizing and prioritizing your work. We also believe that you are a true team player – with skills in team building and collaboration - even though you also work just as well independently with minimum supervision. Lastly, you know how to handle confidential information with discretion.

Requirements
Education at university level or relevant post-secondary education
Proven professional experience as an administrative and/or project officer, preferably in a multicultural working environment
Excellent skills in managing documentation, preparing correspondence and other documentation
Good understanding of the technical aspects of information management
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
Excellent command of English; spoken and written
Meritorious
Knowledge of SharePoint or SharePoint Online would be beneficial
Contract type and hours
Full-time assignment for the duration of 3 months, with possible extension. Start as soon as possible.
