Project Packaging Engineer
Packaging Engineering is responsible for the development, implementation and fleet management of packaging solutions. All parts delivered to a plant must be transported and handled in packaging that are quality assured, ergonomic to handle and cost efficient. This is applicable in the complete supply chain, including empty return flows.
We are now looking for a team member to strengthen our efforts to launch our upcoming projects in a quality assured way.
Transparency, standardization and common development is one of the fundamentals in order to become lean and more efficient within logistics. PE-engineers can/will be connected to multiple tasks/roles.
Main responsibilities
In this role you work with the implementation of packaging solutions in new projects. You and your department work towards and together with part suppliers, ensuring timely system updates of relevant packaging data. You ensure cost efficiency and quality of packaging solutions and ensure common practice and packaging solutions for multiple plants.
You also provide support to local plant packaging engineers when necessary, issue status reports for packaging development and work continuously to limit unnecessary or in other way unwanted repacks. You work to ensure flawless project launches in terms of packaging readiness and availability and ensure smooth and cost efficient flows of packaging and components. There is a continuous contact with different departments such as R&D, Purchasing etc.

End date: December 31st
Required qualifications
* University degree or equivalent experience
* Experience in Logistics and/or Production
* Experience from the automotive industry
* Fluent in written and spoken English
* Green belt certified or equivalent
Personal qualities
You have good communication and cooperative skills as well as problem solving skills. You work in an analytical and structured way and you have a positive mindset. Furthermore you are a team player with good social and networking abilities and you have the possibility to travel if needed.
