Project Planner

You will be part of HVDC in Ludvika. ABB's HVDC unit (High Voltage Direct Current) develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. The by ABB developed HVDC technology is used to transfer electrical energy over long distances and for power transmission when using undersea cables. HVDC is also used to connect power systems. HVDC Light was developed by ABB and is now highly requested on the market. The technology is suitable for power systems where overhead lines cannot be used or where power grids need to be strengthened. HVDC Light is also used for offshore connections of platforms and wind power farms and is a great answer on today's need for environmentally friendly solutions.

In the role as Project Planner, you will be an integral part of our global projects. The Project Planner will create the initial Project Time Schedule to include all deliverable milestones and will ensure that information used in decision making reflects the most up to date status of the projects they support. Establish and maintain an agreed baseline schedule. You will be responsible for analyzing the project schedule, co-operate with sub-project managers and reporting your findings and recommendations to the project management. You will also be responsible for schedule reporting to the Project Manager and Project team.

You have several years' experience from planning large and complex projects. Presumably you also hold a degree of some sort. If you have a technical background and experience from working with Primavera, this is qualifying. Multitasking comes naturally to you, and you have the ability to see the big picture. You like working in challenging environment and you are always ambitious, independent and meticulous, regardless of your workload. People describe you as a collected and composed professional who takes great responsibility for your work. Needless to say, you are a true team player, a skilled communicator who enjoys developing solutions together with your colleagues.
