Project Planner

You will be part of HVDC within the Power Systems division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. Are you ready for an interesting challenge in an international setting? Are you enticed by the opportunity to enhance HVDC?s planning function? In the role as Project Planner, you will be an integral part of our global projects. The Project Planner will create the initial Project Time Schedule to include all deliverable milestones and will ensure that information used in decision making reflects the most up to date status of the projects they support. You will also establish and maintain an agreed baseline schedule. You will be responsible for analyzing the project schedule, co-operate with sub-project managers and reporting your findings and recommendations to the project management. You will also be responsible for schedule reporting to the Project Manager and Project team.

You have several years of experience from planning large and complex projects. Presumably you also hold a degree of some sort. If you have a technical background and experience from working with Primavera or similar software, integrations and software synchronization between Primavera and document systems, visualization software for example QlikView and PIMS will be a benefit. Multitasking comes naturally to you, and you have the ability to see the big picture. You like working in a challenging environment and you are always ambitious, independent and meticulous, regardless of your workload. People describe you as a collected and composed professional who takes great responsibility for your work and has no problems responding to client needs accurately and in a timely manner. Needless to say, you are a true team player, a skilled communicator who enjoys developing solutions together with your colleagues. Furthermore, you are fluent in English.
