Would you like to be working as a Project Planner and Assistant in ABB Division Marine & Ports? This is a unit that mainly works with Automation of Cranes in ports all over the world.
We have a project business that just has implemented the new planning system called IPM that is based on the planning tool Planisware. This tool has a lot of similarities with Microsoft Project but has also large possibilities of integration with other systems like the Economical system and the Documentation system. The Project Plan in IPM is based on a standard project delivery for Marine & Ports, that you as a planner will help the project team to adapt to a specific project. Today Marine & Ports has already a 100% dedicated IPM planner so training and coaching can easily be given.
As a Project Planner you should have good system knowledge and an understanding of database handling, processes and planning. In this role you will also have the possibility to work as an assistant 40% of your time, where you will have a broad role with varying tasks. This position is suitable for a person who is well-organized, co-operative, service-minded and who thrives in a busy and fast-paced environment.
Your responsibilities
Take part in the implementation of IPM Cost & Cash.
Be of help to the resource managers of accepting resource requirements in IPM and looking at resource Reports in the tool Power BI.
Support co-workers with various administrative and support tasks, including placing Orders, processing Travel expenses and Invoice handling, etc.

Your background
You could be a System Engineer or have the background from computer science, logistics, process or planning knowledge.
You have solid knowledge of the MS Office tools, whereas knowledge of SAP and/or Microsoft Project, are an advantage.
You have a positive attitude with a high level of “problem-solving” mindset.
You need to be responsible, communicative and an expert in providing great service, and you thrive when developing – both yourself and the business.
You have good communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal.
The position requires the person to work from Västerås, Sweden.
