Project Planner - Onboard
Do you want to join a world leader in the railway sector? Alstom Sweden is looking for an ambitious Project Planner - Onboard.
Sweden has set an ambitious and radical goal to upgrade the totality of its mainline network. Alstom is there to set this ambition to life and has started the deployment of state-of-the-art ERTMS level 2 baseline 3 signaling technology both on the trackside infrastructure and train fleets. This technology will drastically improve the passenger experience by reducing the number of delays and increasing transport capacity.
As a Project Planner - Onboard, you will be working in close collaboration with the project manager to provide accurate information in order to update and follow the Project master schedule. Furthermore, you will be in charge of monitoring the internal project schedule, shared with the internal teams for them to plan their detailed activities
Key Responsibilities
To be responsible for the internal schedule of the On board portfolio projects schedule:
To monitor the execution of the Project schedule as defined by the project Schedule manager,
To manage the internal schedules interfaces between metier and between sites,
To ensure the consistency of all the internal stakeholders’ commitments.
To organize and to lead periodic project schedule sessions with internal team to align every metier and every site on the project strategy and deadlines,
To monitor and to report the project follow up through schedule updates,
To lead the performance, follow up with the proper KPIs,
To provide relevant and accurate information to the Project schedule manager for monthly updates,
To capture any external events that could lead to delay on internal activities compared to the latest baseline
As a member of the Alstom planning community:
Apply the Alstom Project Scheduling Process,
Contribute to the return of experience (REX) and improvements, share best practices, schedule template.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Junior project management (+2 years) with industrial background
Skills in MS Project
Progress monitoring through KPIs (S-curves)
Is aware about working with internal processes: Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality and their interfaces
Language Requirement:
Excellent in speaking and writing in English.
