About the role:
You will be a part of the procurement team at Alsom Västerås and be responsible for the procurement budget EAC (Estimated At Completion) reconciliation for all projects, including actuals / forecast vs budget as sold, savings, risks tracking and reporting on a monthly basis to the Project Controller and Project Manager.
Working closely with the Project Procurement Manager, you will build the CBOM (Costed Bill of Material) and calculate the complete EAC budget for Procurement.
Responsibilities:
Manage the procurement budget EAC handed over from the bid phase during the whole project execution phase until closure of the project / end of delivery.
Perform bridge analysis on forecasted EAC budget vs As sold budget for bid phase
Obtain hedge rates and inflation rates from finance and incorporate in the EAC
Consolidate all work packages included in the EAC; CBOM, inflation, hedge rates, savings, claims and risk assessment.
Analysis of actual cost As built vs Forecasted cost and impact on the EAC
Checks and controls cost movements monthly, compares with “As Sold” situation, “Current Forecast EAC” situation as well as with previous forecast.
Presents all financial data in a transparent way to the project
Prepares the EAC to be validated during the Financial Project Reviews
Align with project controller and project manager to ensure each gap vs Financial Project Review (deviation sheet & bridge approval process)
Liaise with other finance expert functions (e.g. Tax and Customs, Treasury and Financing, Internal Audit & Risk Management, Accounting and Finance efficiency, etc.).
Support PM in risks and opportunities process and sign-off risks/committed savings
Requirements:
University degree (ideally in a Finance or Procurement related field)
Previous experience in a similar role
Experience of using ERP systems
Good knowledge of Excel
Strong communication and writing skills in english
