Responsibility
Nouryon is now looking for a Project Purchase and Shipping Manager to join our EKA Engineering team in Bohus, just 15 minutes commute from Gothenburg Central Station! As part of the Nouryon Bleaching Chemicals business line, EKA Engineering is responsible for acquiring and executing projects and related service activities to our clients in the pulp industry, all over the world.
We can offer you a varied and exciting role in a truly global environment. As a Project Purchase and Shipping Manager you will give operative support to project managers in projects for chlorine dioxide production for external customers. You will be responsible for all supply chain activities in an Eka Engineering project, including inquiry submittal, evaluation of proposals, negotiations, contract signing, expediting and shipment of goods. You will also hold a natural spot as a team member in projects ranging from minor rebuild projects to larger scale projects extending over several years.
Main responsibilities
Lead and drive all supply chain related activities in Eka Engineering execution projects
Be an active member in the project team and report the status of the Supply Chain activities to the Project Manager
Submit and evaluate quotations form suppliers for budget purposes in Eka Engineering Sales Projects
Be in tight connection with the corporate purchasing organisation to ensure knowledge and alignment of the company policies for supplier contracts
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or Engineering, or equally acquired competence
Minimum of 5 years’ experience of working in projects in an international procurement organization including negotiations, procurement administration, expediting and shipment related tasks.
Experience from investment projects preferably in Pulping or Chemical Process industries, including technical understanding
Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken). Other languages such as Portuguese or Spanish is an advantage
Ability to travel occasionally

The application process
After the closing date, we will start the selection process.
In our first selection we thoroughly go through all the applications. If your skills and qualifications match the profile we are looking for, you will be invited to an initial phone interview that takes approximately 30 minutes. If you proceed in our selection process, we invite you to a face-to-face interview that takes about 1,5 hours. There you will meet with the recruiter and the hiring manager.
In addition to this interview, you will be asked to conduct a problem-solving test and a personality analysis. We will discuss the results during the interview.
