Eka Engineering is the engineering and contracting part of our Renewable Fibers business. We specialize in the design and supply of chlorine dioxide plants and equipment to the pulp & paper and other industries. Our experienced personnel, our world class technology and project management capabilities provide customers with a significant advantage for their operations. We are looking for a Project Purchase and Shipping Manager to Eka Engineering. In this role you will have the opportunity to drive and develop our supply chain activities from the sales phase and all the way to a completed project.
Main responsibilities
Our suppliers and projects are located across the globe which gives you the opportunity to work in an international environment. As member of the project team you manage all activities related to sourcing of equipment and services as well as shipping. That includes creation of procurement plan and inquiries to initiate the purchase and later evaluation of quotations together with the technical team and negotiations of terms and conditions.
Another important activity is to monitor, and coordinate purchased equipment. The necessary documents shall be issued, and your role involves managing the logistics chain from supplier to final destination.
You will also be the link between Eka Engineering and Nouryon procurement to ensure knowledge and alignment of the company’s policies and supplier evaluation.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position we believe that you are a performance driven and relationship building team player. You are a strong communicator and project member who enjoy collaborating cross functionally in various geographical area. Your skills in MS Office package are excellent and you also have previous experience from working in a project-based role or environment.
You have a solid understanding of international business processes and are able to prioritize and work project based with limited direction. Portuguese and/or Spanish proficiency is merited.
University degree in Business or Engineering
3 - 5 years’ experience of working in projects in an international procurement organization (including negotiations, procurement administration, expediting and shipment related tasks)
Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
This is a permanent position at our Nordic business center located in Gamlestan (Gothenburg). The position requires occasional regional and global travel

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Eka Engineering Manager. Position is based in Gamlestan (Gothenburg).
