Arbetsbeskrivning
The Project Purchaser plays an integral role within the many product development projects at FlexLink. You are responsible for selecting the right supplier for the right product while ensuring the proper cost levels, lead times and that all documentation is in place before project release. Working as a link between the Supply Chain and the Technology and Innovation department, there is a requirement that you maintain an efficient way of sorting out the most important information and communicating it to the internal stakeholders of each project.
You will be based in our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden. Occasional travels (supplier visits) will be required in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Identify suitable suppliers among already established suppliers or potential new suppliers
Participate in and contribute to new product development projects
Prepare, distribute and evaluate RFQs for all new FlexLink products
Negotiate cost and lead times at acceptable levels according to the project budget
Order initial samples of new products
Act as a link between the Supply Chain and Technology and Innovation departments
Participate in various cost-reduction activities
Drive and coordinate proper item creation/release process in the company PLM and ERP system

We are looking for you who have some experience in sourcing direct materials, preferably within a technical field. You are a proactive and goal-oriented individual with good communication. Your outgoing personality helps you build lasting business relations. Your success will also depend on your drive, analytical skills and strategic thinking.
Qualifications
University degree (Bachelor's or Master's), preferably within engineering or business
2-3 years relevant working experience, preferably within purchasing
Experience with various ERP systems, preferably SAP
Negotiation skills
Solid analytical ability and financial awareness
Good communication and networking skills
Self-driven and autonomous
Positive mindset and a team player spirit
Good knowledge and usage of the Microsoft Office package (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
Fluency in English, written and spoken
