Axis Ex AB is a small, ISO-certified production company producing explosion protected products for Axis Communications.

Who is your future team?
Axis Ex AB is the production company for Axis explosion protected products. The products are globally certified for hazardous areas. You will be part of a handful very competent colleagues. Today we are 14 employees within Axis Ex AB, and we work very close with many more Axis Group colleagues. This role is part of the industrialization team at Axis Ex but also part of the Project development team at Axis Communications AB.

This role will be located partly at Axis Ex's production site and partly at Axis HQ close to the resources working in the development projects and the Sourcing departments at Axis Communications AB.

What will you do as Project Purchaser at Axis Ex?
The project purchaser is responsible for sourcing related tasks in new product development projects, from concept phase until hand over for volume production. Working as purchaser you will have a wide network of contacts internally across Axis Communications and externally with suppliers and manufacturing partners. Even though focusing on sourcing and procurement related tasks, you will grow your knowledge in many other areas when co-operating with other company departments as they have vital input to the decisions you will take together with the projects.

Typical responsibilities include:

Evaluate quotes, negotiate, and select suppliers together with the projects and stakeholders.

Review and analyze BOM (Bill of Material) in term of costs, lead times and risk to review if best possible components are selected.
*

Order placement and follow up towards suppliers to support the project time plan.
*

Close collaboration with contract manufacturing partners to ensure all components and materials are secured for prototype builds and production ramp up.
*

Cooperation with other departments as R&D, Sourcing, Supply and Quality during development phase.
*

Enter and maintain component and supplier information in business system.

You are always open and willing to learn and develop.

We'd love to hear that you have:

A university degree in a relevant field.
*

Previous experience in global Sourcing or Purchasing roles.
*

Technical or market knowledge about electronics and mechanical components.
*

Excellent MS Office skills, comfortable working in ERP or other IT-systems.
*

Excellent skills in English and Swedish.
