The Role
This position plays an integral role in driving improvements in the sourcing process related to Direct Material.
Project Purchasers have the responsibility to identify, drive, and provide supplier sourcing for products that shall meet design requirements, support business objectives, and represents best value to the company.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Project Purchasers main responsibility is to be responsible for sourcing of projects. Working closely with the engineers, supply chain project coordinators and category manager/strategic purchaser to ensure the sourcing plan is optimized to achieve project deliverables (including optimized business case and BoM cost), support the category strategy, operating margin and return on investment requirements, will also be a key element of this role according to the Koenigsegg sourcing process.
- Sourcing of projects, parts, services and consumables for production, development, and service/aftermarket
- Optimize inventory and stock levels of purchased components.
- Capture/Understand potential risks (quality, financial, property, geopolitical, etc.) along the whole Supply Chain cycle and prepare contingency plans.
- Manage the supplier and contract performance in all aspects including supplier’s compliance to Koenigsegg requirements.
- Commercial relationships (incl. contract terms & conditions and annual negotiations).
- Support Category managers in completion of tasks.
- Drive Supplier entry & supplier exit/switch process.
- Prepare for handover to Material planning team and support Launch activities.
Master or bachelor's degree in Industrial engineering and Management or other relevant training in combination with at least 5 years’ experience in the field of Sourcing/Supply Chain Management.
- 5 years of documented sourcing related experience.
- Supplier and stakeholder management skills
- TCO, logistics, quality processes, APQP, PPAP, risk management, CSR; preferably within the automotive industry.
- Negotiation skills and strong business acumen.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of resilience to deal with urgent requests, and minimal information. Work in close liaison with different stakeholders internally and externally.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Passion for results, and hands-on execution.
- Written and verbal skills as well as organizational and project management capabilities.
- Proficient in Excel, MS Project, Power Point, Word, ERP systems (Monitor or equivalent).
- Ability to mitigate unforeseen problems creatively and effectively.
- Advanced language skills in English in both speech and writing.
- Good oral and written communication skills, suitable for both large groups and senior management.
- The ability to prepare, plan, author, and present reports via PowerPoint, Word documents, emails, and verbal
- Willingness to learn.
