Mission


You will be in charge to support the cross-functional quality management plan during Electromobility product development projects. You will be as well a go-to person for quality tools usage.
The support will include both hands-on activities (to initiate the quality plan and to steer part of it) and coaching of Project Managers/EPIC owner and Product Owners, to contribute to build up their competences. You can also be a neutral player to find compromises and opportunities, when needed.


Scope


You will be part of the Electromobility organization, with a large and diverse portfolio of projects, covering all Volvo applications / brands as per a platform approach. Depending on the background and the inspiration of the chosen candidate, focus might be more on some technologies than some others.


Responsibilities
Support Project Managers/EPIC owner and Product Owners to establish part or the full quality plan of their projects, in a cross-functional manner.
Be the quality tools go-to person for the project.
Steer part of the quality plan, as an additional resource for the Project Manager/EPIC owner or Product Owner.
On demand of the Project Manager/EPIC owner, provide visibility on the solving status of the product issues handled by the project; support Product Owners in Root Cause Analysis, when required.
Provide additional education on quality tools to the project team members, when required.

Profile
At least 5 years of professional background in project management and quality management, applied to high-tech product development; master degree is preferred.
Fully proficient with quality tools and expert for some of them.
FMEA expert or guru.
Coaching attitude is a must.
Electromobility Product knowledge is interesting.
Structured approach (speak with facts and data).
Leadership and communication skills.
Customer and business oriented.
Professional English.
