What you'll be doing:
Our customer is in need of an extra resource to their Financial IT transformation Team.
The purpose of the project is to increase efficiency in finance and IT purchasing in Sweden by standardizing purchasing and finance processes and systems reducing manual work. As a part of this team you will be involved in the following:
- Implement one way to follow up IT costs in the company.
-Safeguard cost control & compliance by applying our customer's standard systems, processes and approval flows and reduce dependency on a few employees.
-Reduce tax cost and safeguard tax compliance by applying the entrepreneurial model for central costs.
-Agree charge out model for countries outside entrepreneurial model.
-Improve input for business decisions and cost control by improving cost transparency and become -benchmarkable.
Besides from this, you will also:
* Validate project assignment and expectations (deliverables, resources, cost, and timeline)
* Resolve current uncertainties that are required as input or prerequisites when building the new cost allocation and chargeback model (scope, formal assignment of the function / team with clearly defined roles, expected deliverables, responsibilities, mandate, etc.)
* Inventory current cost allocation model focusing on abilities to route costs from the financial layer to, cost data availability, key identifiers (accounts, cost centers, assignment IDs, internal orders, etc.), and how this can be re-used in the preferred, future setup.
* Leverage best-practice models and principles such as TBM or similar, and reference how other companies have addressed and resolves similar situations, focusing on the assumption that product pricing is an objective.
* When creating the future model, start simple, e.g. if possible, deploy it through existing tools (Excel + SAP +"TICC" + Power BI) if it can be managed without increased operational workloads in order to prove model and after have successfully run this a number of months, build long-term requirements and source a new, COTS SaaS solution fit for purpose (PowerBI, QlikView, etc.).
