Sourcing at Husqvarna is organized within each business division securing quality, delivery, cost efficiency and sustainability of supply to Husqvarna on a global level. One of the key functions within sourcing is Project Sourcing.
The Project Sourcing department within Husqvarna BD is responsible for having all major product development/sourcing projects within the Husqvarna BD executed in an efficient way to meet all our customer´s expectations.
We are now looking for a Project Sourcing Manager to take on important projects.
You will belong to the department in the Huskvarna office, consisting of 8 people.
You will also belong to a global Project Sourcing organization and network where the right candidate is given wide opportunities to develop with the ambitious growth plan of the company.
JOB DESCRIPTION
To proactively drive and follow up the Sourcing part of the project according to the Product Creation Process and decided support processes. To deliver the project on time with agreed quality, cost, and features according to requested volumes and production capacity
Your Key Responsibilities:
Secure the execution of the complete sourcing part in our Product Creation Process (PCP) to fulfil our internal customers’ expectations. From driving the supplier selection process to secure optimized quality assurance (APQP, PPAP), delivery performance and price for all parts in the projects
As a part of the cross functional team take an active part of the project, participating in required meetings, contribute to the fulfilment of the total project and be the voice of Sourcing in the Project Management Team
Lead and manage the activities within the Sourcing organization
Manage internal customer relationships and coordinate with Commodity Management/SQA/Project management/R&D/external suppliers in the selection, assessment and approval of supplier and parts
Contribute and drive operational excellence through continuous improvements within Project Sourcing
Frequently interact with the Sourcing line organization about project demands, targets, time schedules, and other project information by using the Project Sourcing reference group & Pulse meetings
Create and submit Sourcing project status report to the project PM.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor degree or work experience in relevant area, engineering/business administration or other relevant discipline
Project Management education/certification is an advantage
Previous leadership experience as an advantage
Strong experience from negotiations
5 years of experience within project management
Experience within sourcing/purchasing an advantage
Fluency in English and Swedish is required (written and oral)

Personal leadership with strong teamwork capabilities including people leadership skills
Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong negotiation skills
Result driven
Knowledge and experience with software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
Understanding the importance of customer focus and internal stakeholder management including presentation and database application
