Program Purchasing within Supply Chain Operations, Capital Equipment, Supplier Management is currently looking for a Project Supply Manager - Equipment Technology. In this position you will work closely together with the Development & Service Operations organisation - with our suppliers, providing value to Tetra Pak's customers through focus on Performance (Quality, Cost and Delivery), Technology scouting and People Engagement.
Supply Chain Operations, Capital Equipment is responsible for the manufacture and supply of filling machines and distribution equipment from receipt of order until performance is achieved at the customer's site. The Program Purchasing team primarily interfaces with the Development & Service Operations organisation to define and achieve its project targets. We are responsible for organizing, managing and driving technology/development related sourcing, which contributes to the delivery of new machines to our customers at the right quality, time and cost securing the Supply Chain grounds from the beginning.
Main responsibilities
- Participate in - a cross functional Core Team - and develop the early Technology project involvement of Supplier Management within the Development & Service Operations
- Secure and execute prototype procurement to the related project/s
- Drive guidelines, method and implementation of cost analysis
- Sourcing and contracting of potential suppliers
- Negotiate, plan and execute supplier audits and risk assessments to secure Project and Supply Chain aspects in short and long term perspective
- Secure Agreement coverage within confidentiality, project, Intellectual Property Rights protection and legal compliance for the projects
Qualifications
The person we are looking for has at least 3 years experience from similar tasks within Supplier Management, development and manufacturing of complex products. You will take a leading role in several important projects and therefore it is essential that you have project management experience. We believe that you have a University degree within a technical and/or commercial discipline. You are fluent both in written and spoken English and a talented Excel user. SAP skills are beneficial.
To be successful in this position you need to have strong communication and networking skills. Further you need to have the ability to motivate others and to influence at all levels in the organisation.
You enjoy problem solving as well as taking initiatives and driving activities independently.
