Job Summary
Our mission within Processing Solutions & Equipment is to manage commercial projects for Capital Equipment from pre-project to handover, securing competitive production solutions, and deliveries on time, on budget, in full and with customer satisfaction.
We are now looking for a Projects Site Manager to join our successful team within Planning and Operations, responsible to lead and manage the integration of all site-based activities during Installation, Commissioning & Performance Validation of commercial customer projects. Planning and Operations is working closely together with the 17 Project Centres around the world to provide world-class project capabilities, support growth and balancing resource needs globally.
You will work in a dynamic project environment delivering large (>20MEur) and complex commercial projects to customers with cross-functional engineering teams.
This is a permanent position based in Warsaw, Poland.
It will require minimum 50% traveling, depending on the location of the projects.
What you will do
As Projects site manager, you will:
Provide Site leadership to deliver project results with responsibility for site activities, including breakdown, plan, and follow-up daily activities at the installation site, working with a cross-functional team of highly committed colleagues from Tetra Pak as well as from customer and third-party suppliers.
Manage and take responsibility for OHS for site activities covered by the scope of the project; mental well-being, heavy lifting, working at height, hot works, etc
Manage and monitor project plans on Quality, Time & Cost for site activities.
Communication of site activities with internal and external stakeholders.
Give input to and review the pre-project from a site perspective during the Sales phase.
Drive improvement or development of processes and tools (Installation to Performance) around Site Management.
We believe you have
More than 3-5 years of experience in leading installation/commissioning projects on customer sites depending on educational background.
Technical engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Chemical, Process or Food Engineering areas.
A structured, proactive, and well-organized approach to project tasks.
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Ability to travel within Europe, and occasionally globally, for more than 50% of the time.
You are self-driven, decisive, highly motivated, and independent in your work.
You demonstrate leadership skills, communication skills, technical negotiation skills, change management skills and the capability to manoeuvre through complex situations effectively.
You are, at heart, a site manager that feel excited in navigating large installation projects on customer sites. We believe, you have a positive and strong leadership and an organized way of working and delivering under time and pressure. To handle change, and to manoeuvre complex situations comes naturally to you. Furthermore, you are an excellent communicator who easily can work cross-functionally with people on all levels and cultures.
