SP Process Development, RISE Division Life Science, is recruiting Project Manager We are searching for enthusiastic and ambitious colleagues to strengthen our team. You are a curious, creative, and open minded person. You are not afraid to take responsibilities and you are enthusiastic to work in a laboratory environment. Collaboration and team work is your preferred way of working. You will have the possibility to work with hands-on laboratory work and manufacturing, knowledge and tech transfer, writing of customer reports and scientific reports, regulatory documents and project management. You will also be part of writing quotations for customers as well as grant applications. In your role you will lead and perform research and development to support both customer specific projects as well as open research projects. We specialize in the areas of, e.g., pharmaceutical development, scale-up of chemical processes, manufacture (up 100 L in-house) including GMP manufacture, continuous chemical processing, process simulation and modeling, crystallization and other unit operations, e.g., distillation, extraction, analysis, isolation and characterization of unknown substances, analytical development to support GMP manufacture, formulation development. etc. The projects that we work with are quite often advanced problem solving that involves multiple skills and interactions both within the organization as well as with external parties. You must speak and write English fluently. Knowledge of the Swedish language is not a requirement for being employed at SP, but you must be prepared to start learning Swedish within a reasonable amount of time. Our research and innovation is about applied chemical process and pharmaceutical development. We have a very broad range of projects, e.g., development of bulk chemical processes, producing drug candidates for clinical and toxicological testing, advanced analytical problem solving, development of new synthetic routes, process development for the bio-economy field. We perform R&D from early proof of concept to scale-up verification. We have facilities for process demonstration and small scale manufacture of chemicals and pharmaceutical drug products. SP Process Development offers you a flexible and dynamic working environment with the possibility to strengthen your experience and knowledge of several process research areas and industrial sectors. Collaboration with external academic and industrial partners is an important aspect of the job. You are encouraged to initiate contacts with commercial and academic partners, and establish new research collaborations.
