Property Compliance Specialist

Group Property Compliance is a support function to the Group Property that fosters improved organizational processes and support the improvement of internal control procedures. It supports Group Property and real estate organizations in IKEA countries to achieve their objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of internal control and risk management. Group Property Compliance monitor compliance with rules and regulations, both internal and external, objectives and the protection of the IKEA brand.
Assignments
You will be responsible for assessing internal control systems and support management in identifying control weaknesses and support the development of the Property Compliance. You will plan and conduct audits as a tool to identify improvement within Property processes assuring compliance with policies, guidelines and other internal instructions and evaluating compliance with external regulations and requirements. You will conduct assessment of the reliability of management data and communicate audit results, give recommendations and monitor improvement process of internal control. Furthermore you will support development and implementation of best practices, working methods and manuals. You will also coordinate and support processes related to IWAY within the Property activities.
Is this the right challenge for you?
We prefer that you have a University degree in Engineering, Business administration or equivalent. You have experience of business or project management within property and/or construction, quantity surveying, auditing, risk management and/or supply/procurement management, and we expect that your background to a great extent covers these areas.You have consulting and project management skills and working knowledge of MS office applications. As the assignments are global multicultural experience is also preferable. You can see yourself in the role for at least three years.
