Aeronautics, a Business Area of Saab, offers advanced airborne systems, related subsystems, unmanned aerial systems, aero structures and services to defence customers and commercial aerospace industries worldwide.

Your role

As Proposal Manager you work primarily with compiling documentation produced to our offers that will be delivered to the customer, you will also sometimes be responsible for the operations of Bid Center.

Examples of tasks included in the position are:

Participation in planning and leading tender projects
*

Responsibility for Bid Center's IT environment, in terms of account and access management, file structures and administrative support to our users
*

Support for text writers in the form of text and image processing including preparation of document templates, formatting, configuration management, archiving and re-use of documents
*

Responsibility for the reviewing process of tender documents
*

Printing and packaging tender documentation and submit tenders to customers
*

Coordination of resources for translation, animation, security, courier services, etc.

Work in Bid Center is performed with top priority on delivery precision to customer, which occasionally requires work outside of office hours and during weekends, sometimes at very short notice.

Other tasks within Marketing could occur during quiet periods in Bid Center.

Your profile

You are energetic, enjoy responsibility and like to work close with people in different teams. It is natural for you to provide own initiatives and contribute to the continued development of our ways of working. You are service minded, have an open personality and positive approach.

You are responsive, keen, flexible and highly structured.

It is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both written and spoken language and useful if you have knowledge of other languages as well. You have very good knowledge in MS Office particularly in Word and Excel. It is also beneficial with good knowledge in PowerPoint and experience of editorial work is meritorious. Knowledge of document and information control regarding security and classification of information and export control is essential in this role so previous experience is an advantage.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

What you will be a part of

You will belong to the Marketing department, which is organised within Marketing, Sales & Commercial. The department is tasked to market and sell the Gripen fighter aircraft system on the international arena and is responsible for providing the entire Business Area with Marketing resources and expertise.

We are working in Linköping, in the hub for global marketing and sales of Gripen. We are a dedicated and goal-oriented team, that believe in communication and empowerment. To have good coverage on the world market, we work in close cooperation with our international offices. Our department, Marketing, Sales & Commercial, focuses on selling Gripen to new customers while also strengthening the Gripen brand. The department is also responsible for Bid Center where we produce offers to our potential customers for all Aeronautics products.

The Aeronautics business area is an innovative supplier of world-class aircraft systems, advanced aerostructures, and a wide range of support solutions within civil and military aviation. The business area researches, develops, and produces military aviation systems. We are building for the future through research and studies into innovative flight systems and the further development of our products.
