At Antaros Medical, we are pioneering imaging methodologies, such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Positron Emission Tomography (PET), to design and deliver clinical studies for decision making and differentiation in drug development.

As a part of our growth journey and to deliver on our commitments, we are looking for a Proposal Manager to our Business Development (BD) department. The position is either for one of the Antaros’ offices (Mölndal, Uppsala or Malmö), or home-based.
As a Proposal Manager, you will support and work closely with the BD team in operational duties, such as budgets and proposals for our customers. You will have responsibility to manage different stages of sales- and business development activities, by connecting collaboration, tasks, and actions, and to weave these activities together. You will manage incoming customer requests for information (RFIs) and proposals (RFPs). You will have the responsibility to oversee customer contracts and support Business Development with other tasks, such as change orders.
For the right candidate, there is opportunity to define workflows and best practices for operations in our BD department. Customer- and partner-facing responsibilities can be discussed as well.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Management of sales- and business development activities, by tracking actions in different stages and the flow of the back-end processes
- Manage the request for proposal (RFP) end-to-end process, including capturing essential project information from the clinical study protocol, organizing internal review meetings to evaluate the RFP, create budgets and develop well written and accurate proposal content
- Work cross-functionally with departments of Imaging Science, and Imaging Services
- Manage all efforts required to respond to customer requests for information (RFI) in a timely manner to meet customer deadlines
- Support the Contract and Legal department to review, execute, and maintain contractual documents, including MSAs and Scope of Work
- Organize and maintain templates for proposals and budgets
Additional responsibilities could include:
- Support the Imaging Services team to execute change orders
- Participate in department initiatives, such as to define and implement more efficient and effective workflows for BD operations
- Customer- and partner-facing responsibilities
- Support the Business Development team with other tasks, e.g., related to sales, management of the CRM tool
Who are we looking for?
To succeed in the role as Proposal Manager, it is essential to have strong analytical and numerical skills, be able to distill relevant information, and have exceptional eye for detail. We believe that you have a natural ability to organize and prioritize your work, which is considered especially important when adapting to different scenarios and meeting strict deadlines. You enjoy collaboration with various departments and functions to effectively manage the proposal process from start to end.
As a person, we further believe that you are proactive, personable, and take ownership to deliver with high quality. We value your character and potential to perform in this role higher than explicit work experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s- or Master’s degree, preferably in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (i.e. STEM disciplines), or in economics-related discipline
- Very high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Skilled in managing projects and workload
- Knowledge and experience working in a CRO environment
- Knowledge and experience of drug development and clinical trials
- Experience working with budgets, proposals and contracts in a CRO setting
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and with customers
Meritorious:
- Working within a clinical imaging CRO or being exposed to imaging in clinical trials.
- Having the motivation and strive to learn quickly in a fast-paced, changeable, and dynamic environment.
- Customer facing experience and the ability to communicate in a professional manner.
