Alligator Bioscience is looking for a Scientist with a strong background in the development of protein based therapeutics.Alligator Bioscience uses its proprietary FIND technology(Fragment INduced Diversity) to discover and develop protein based drug candidates within oncology and inflammatory diseases.Alligator Bioscience consists of 20 highly skilled persons working closely together on our projects and we are located in Lund, Sweden. YOUR EXPECTATIONS Your essential tasks will be: * You will be responsible for building up and maintaining competence within the hit-to-lead phase of our drug candidate development.* Participate in project work in research and development of protein-based drugs in the preclinical phase.* Design, develop and validate analytical methods for proteinbased drugs.* You must have an interest for new techniques and adapting methods to new projects as needed.* Plan and perform development work in cooperation with team members.* Coordinate activities at contract laboratories. OUR EXPECTATIONS We expect the ideal candidate to: * Have a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with a degree in Biochemistry, Biophysical Chemistry or equivalent education.* Have research experience and excellent skills in some or all of the following areas: - Preformulation, including protein stability and aggregation.- Analytical methods for the characterization of therapeutic proteins including but not limited to HPLC and other chromatographic methods, BIAcore, cell based assays.- Purification of therapeutic proteins.- Design of Experiment (DoE).- Protein modelling.* Be a team worker and problem solver.* Be innovative, flexible and quality minded.* Be fluent in English, both spoken and written.
